Well, you should definately be able to manipulate files in both folders, as long as they are not in use by program (well, you can do it then as well, but it’s another storry). It’s really strange if SB still use the files in original folder, it should use the ones in it’s own game folder can you check if it loads GG from original Game folder or it uses the sandboxed one? You may do this for example by using Process Hacker 2, just after game start (windowed would be the best option) mouse over on the GG files and you should be able to see description and path to file. It should be the path to your sandboxed files, in other case something went wrong during configuration Ps. Launcher.exe – non Sandboxed path Gameguard.des – sandboxed path GameMon.des – non sandboxed If i start sb-launcher i get an error message with several “could not hook xy” and “DLL initialization failed for xy”, but i can still play normally. Take your time to test the EU version. EDIT: I just installed the US version and tried and it worked.

On US: launcher.exe – non sandboxed Gameguard.des – sandboxed GameMon.des – sandboxed So the difference is GameMon.des is runnin on my EU/GER version non sandboxed. Maybe i have some luck and can fix this by myself. EDIT 2: (sry for triple post ^^) After copy + paste normal GG folder to sandboxed path and afterwards deleting normal GG folder it works. The GameMon.exe still have the same path as before – no Sandboxed (After the first start of SB-Rappelz a message pop up with “this file doesn´t exist” But just startet normally).
