I understand that in the USA and Canada, it is possible for end-customers to gain access to by purchasing a software subscription licence - this is not available in EMEA. I have a zone of Mixed-Mode Analog TX channels which I scan most of the time. When I turn the scanning off, the radio flashes the red light briefly for 3-4 seconds and then come up with REG FAILED on the screen. When the red led flashes, I can hear short digital bursts on the control analog-only radio.
